The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has launched a digital campaign entitled “A green shift?” It is a series of short video interviews, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is inviting personalities and scientists to take the floor to reflect on the link between the environment and the pandemic, on the current impact of the crisis in various regions of the world and on the perspectives for the "day after". The campaign began symbolically on 22 April, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, with a message of hope from H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Several personalities are also sharing their points of view in the fields of the environment, science and the economy in order to contribute to creating this new balance between man and nature at the end of this crisis.
Dr. Anya Waite, Associate Vice-President Research (Ocean) for Dalhousie University and CEO and Scientific Director of the Ocean Frontier Institute emphasizes that it is the joint action that arose from the pandemic that "will allow us to succeed in saving our Ocean’s diverse life, in slowing global warming, in harnessing the best science to inform and to guide our governments."
