OFI Research Project "Informing Governance Responses in a Changing Ocean" is hosting a World Fisheries Day Celebration at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Together with Too Big To Ignore and On The Move Partnership, the public event is called "Towards Zero Waste in Our Fisheries." The event will focus attention on reducing waste – of fish through full utilization and of human/social capacity and creativity by reducing gender inequality, acknowledging the critical role women play in fisheries.
