Welcome to the Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI) at Dalhousie University! We are pleased to introduce Daniel Camoi, our Financial Analyst, who brings over ten years of robust experience in financial management and accounting to our team. In his role, Daniel reports directly to the Finance Director and is responsible for overseeing all financial reporting for OFI and CFREF initiatives. His diverse background across various industries equips him with a unique perspective on budget control and financial analysis.

Daniel holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Uganda Management Institute, a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from Makerere University, and a Diploma in Business Studies, also with a focus on Accounting, from Makerere University Business School. He is currently a Level 3 CPA Uganda student and has further enhanced his skills with a Google IT Support Professional Certificate and the Career Essentials in Generative AI from Microsoft, alongside various LinkedIn certifications. His dedication to supporting the financial needs of OFI and its researchers includes a focus on developing comprehensive reports for the Transformative Change in Arctic Research (TCA) initiative, ensuring our operations align with the highest standards of accountability and efficiency.
