A new call is now open for the Ocean Frontier Institute's (OFI) Visiting Fellowship Program!
The program offers an opportunity for researchers to collaborate and exchange knowledge internationally. The deadline to apply is January 23, 2023.
Fellowships will be awarded to highly-qualified researchers who intend to conduct innovative, full-time, interdisciplinary and collaborative research. Visits at the Ocean Frontier Institute or a partner institution, lasting between two weeks and four months, will take place in 2023 or early 2024. Successful applicants will receive travel reimbursement up to $4,000 (CAD) per month.
Incoming Fellowship: Priority is given to researchers coming to OFI from our 8 international partner institutions. All other eligible researchers may apply, including last-year PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, faculty members, independent scholars, and senior staff/technicians.
Outgoing Fellowship: Visits to one of OFI’s 8 international partner institutions, or an international accredited university or research institute with the purpose of fostering new linkages will be considered. Eligible researchers include doctoral/postgraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty members, or senior staff/technicians from a lead OFI University (Dalhousie University or Memorial University).
