Tamara Joseph completed her B.Sc with a major in Marine Biology with the University of New Brunswick in 2020. In 2023, she enrolled in the Master of Marine Management Program with Dalhousie focusing on Indigenous Inclusion in Geographic Information System (GIS) with her research supervisors, Megan Bailey and Shelley Denny. This program provided the opportunity to fill the position for the manager of Indigenous Research and Partnerships. This position is a partnership with the Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaq's Department of Aquatic Resources and Fisheries Management (DARFM) where Tamara can continue to incorporate the Two-Eyed Seeing Approach.
